We have a gnome that has lived in the garden ever since I was born. Last month I decided the poor old chap was looking his age and need a spruce up.
I rubbed off what remained of his flakey paint and covered him in white emulsion and then got set on painting him in fresh bright new colours.
I remembered that my Gran also had a gnome and I went to see if he could do with a spruce up. Unfortunately he needed more the a lick of paint. His left leg had come off!
So he was prepped and now he has been reunited with the limb and has a big smile on his face... actually he had the smile on his face already.
So my gnome is now complete, I made him a broom (besom) to hold and I was told when he was new he had a bucket in his hand so I still have to find one for him.
The other gnome is recovering well and I will be able to give him a well deserved face lift soon.
